- עֲדַרII = h. עָזַר, to help. Targ. Prov. 13:12 דמשרי למְעַדְרֵיה (ed. Lag. a. oth. דמשדי) who begins to help himself (v. Pesh. a. LXX). Ithpe. אִתְעֲדַר to be helped. Ib. 18:19 דמִתְעֲדַר (oth. ed. דמתעוי; v. Pesh. a. LXX).
